BalletRIP® is a new dynamic 60 minute workout of fun, effective movement sequences aimed at transforming mind & body by combining ballet technique with modern dance and movement.

It was at the end of 2016 that BalletRIP came to fruition and was launched in Hilton and Pietermaritzburg. It was received with huge praise as it was just exhilarating as it had promised to be.

One could sense, see and feel the deep love of dance and fitness through these teachings. Diane has since taken BalletRIP to Johannesburg and across the Cape.

With Diane’s unique idea we were able to hold true to her mission, create something which would be instantly recognizable as powerful, beautiful and evolving.

Client Story: BalletRip

Situated within the sweltering CBD of Pietermaritzburg, a somber realization washed over me: the Nestle chocolate factory of my childhood was no longer. What happened to my Willy Wonka golden ticket?

With perspiration trickling down my back, I entered into a portal of Europe, Persia & other exotic far-away places: One Circle International.

Before I could indulge myself within the mysterious texts on the 75 degree tilted book shelf, a peculiar yet beautiful creature ushered me into ‘Head Office’. The apparition of Amal gently greeted me.

Instantly reduced to child mode, I made a disjointed attempt to explain my concept. Whilst imagining Amal in his Persian throne, he listened to my blurts with patient and wise eyes.

Other than being introduced to more peculiar and beautiful creatures, the remainder of my experience was a wonderful and curious blur. Time and space and self-had been unutterably altered forever.

Amal and Naseem (with his mind altering Irish accent) challenged me to deconstruct and reconstruct my concept until a potent product appeared; a product that symbolized the core of my being. From the magical and mysterious quarters of OCI, a brand was created that people wanted to be a part of: BalletRIP

Throughout the creation of BalletRIP, I would intermittently burst into Amal’s office on the cusp of a panic attack. Like a floundering adolescent, I would launch questions at Amal like missiles.

With those patient and wise ‘I’ve seen it all before’ eyes, Amal would sit back in his throne and listen. I would hear words like ‘organic’ and ‘be yourself’ and a strange calm would come over me. Everything was going to be okay and it was … It was more than okay… it was a dream come true transcending all human expectation… OCI managed to capture the essence of everything I stand for in life… integrity.

OCI is where BalletRIP was forged. I will always return to OCI. ‘Tis too late to turn back … onwards and upwards I say.

I found my golden ticket after all: The OCI golden ticket. The one circle…
