Creative Director
Amal qualified with distinction as a graphic designer in 1985 from Cambourne School of Art and Design, England. Having acquired extensive experience in graphic design in London with King & Associates and working with international clients including Del Monte, Body Shop, British Caledonian and Boots, Amal moved to Northern Ireland and was appointed Head of Design at Creative Image Advertising. He progressed to become Chief Executive of Paper Plane Design Consultants prior to establishing the Rocket Design Partnership in 1992.
As the Managing/Creative Director of Rocket, he guided and nurtured the company which today is regarded as one of Northern Ireland's leading design consultancies by both clients and the industry alike. Clients included Northern Bank (the largest financial institution in Ireland), National Trust, Thompsons Feed, SHS Group, BDO, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ulster Television.
Amal was awarded a fellowship from the internationally recognised Chartered Society of Designers in 1996, he is one of a handful of people to hold this honour in South Africa. He is also a member of the South African Association of Professional Designers.
With extensive experience in marketing, design and public relation work in Europe, Amal brings to One Circle a wealth of insight and knowledge of the fast paced and evolving design industry.
Amal brings 20 years of management experience to One Circle International, running his own company of 16 employees and a turnover in excess of
R10,000,000, and managing projects valued in excess of R30,000,000.
An intuitive problem solver, Amal's goal has always been to produce creative and dynamic solutions by providing highly innovative strategic marketing solutions to his clients encompassing a broad and diverse range of sectors.
